2020 VISIONS was entirely composed during the year that Covid changed our lives forever, and recorded and released in late 2021. Many of the songs on the record relate to the various ways the crisis affected us, and our many different responses. There is the humor of “Ain’t Goin’ Out No More,” the reassurance of “River of Hope,” the sadness of “Just Can’t Touch”, and the darkness of “Danny” - plus “Baby Doll” - written in homage to John Prine, tragically lost in the Spring of that year. And then there are other tunes on the record that simply reflect that life goes on. 2020 VISIONS was produced by JC Santalis and myself at his fine studio at Raw Recording in Patterson, New York.
